The Nest
The Nest is Latin's on-site child care and enrichment program, the first facility of its kind at a Charlotte-area independent school. Children are accepted from 6-weeks to 4-years-old.
The Nest is a major commitment by Latin to attract and retain the best faculty and staff by supporting their needs for on-campus care of their preschool age children.
The Nest child care program is licensed by the North Carolina Division of Child Development.
2025-26 Enrollment
Preschool Class (Four and Five Year Olds)
We are admitting children who are affiliated with CLS. The child must be four by 10/15/25 and have a parent who is a Charlotte Latin employee or alumnus. We will also admit younger siblings of CLS students. If you are interested in scheduling a classroom tour, please email Anne Fisher at anne.fisher@charlottelatin.org
Infants through Three Year Olds
Our youngest classrooms are reserved for children of Charlotte Latin employees. If you are affiliated with Charlotte Latin as an alumnus or a parent, your child can be added to the waitlist for the four and five year old classroom. Please email Anne Fisher at anne.fisher@charlottelatin.org with your name and phone number, as well as your child’s name and birthdate, to request a spot on the waitlist. There is no charge to be on the waitlist.
We are currently only accepting affiliated families to our waitlist.
