Innovation & Design

The journey begins in Lower School, where young learners explore foundational concepts through creative play and hands-on discovery. This curiosity builds into Middle School, where students tackle exciting challenges like building and battling robots, coding their own games, and designing projects for our 3D printers and laser cutters, culminating in challenges like the Seventh Grade Solar Car Project.

 Our Upper School courses are taught like a professional software engineering firm. Students learn to work in teams, manage projects, and use the same tools as engineers at Google and Microsoft (like Git/GitHub). Elective pathways allow them to specialize in areas like AI, cybersecurity, web design, or game development.

We don't just teach theory. Students identify authentic needs, build solutions for real users, and present their work to external panels of industry experts. They learn that iteration and learning from failure are celebrated, essential parts of the innovation process.

Our program is driven by passionate teachers who are experts in their fields and model a love of lifelong learning. With structured projects and peer mentoring, we provide an inclusive environment that welcomes beginners and challenges our most advanced students to reach their full potential.
 

We embed critical discussions about the role of technology in society, from bias in AI to data privacy and sustainability. Our goal is to develop students who are not only skilled engineers and coders, but also responsible, ethical leaders.
