Global Studies and Travel Opportunities

LEADING WITH A WORLDWIDE LENS

Global Studies is an integral part of leadership development at Latin. Through purposeful coursework, sister school partnerships, and international travel, students cultivate the global awareness and cross-cultural communication skills essential for leading with empathy and thoughtful decision-making in a complex, interconnected world.

At the end of the day, it’s about people. Making connections. Building relationships. The world is at our fingertips but can feel increasingly disconnected. At its core, Charlotte Latin’s Global Studies programming seeks to spark curiosity, embrace and elevate different perspectives, foster interpersonal connections that transcend borders, and inspire students to advocate for a better world for all.Kelly Willis

Travel OPPORTUNITIES

Middle and Upper School students have the chance to explore the world through transformative travel experiences. Whether it’s an exchange with a sister school, a service learning trip, an international athletic competition, or a longer adventure studying abroad , each journey invites students to connect, contribute, and grow as global citizens and emerging leaders.
