The world isn’t static — neither is Charlotte Latin School.

Our flagship programs prepare our students for the complicated, global, interconnected society of the 21st century, where the only guarantee is that everything will keep changing.

The Global Studies program introduces our students to new cultures and perspectives, preparing them to live in faraway places and to be good citizens in our increasingly diverse communities. The Innovation and Design department doesn’t just teach engineering in our world-class Fab Lab: it unlocks students’ creativity and empowers them to solve problems. Our Wellness program, in keeping with our focus on the whole child, fosters our students’ physical and mental health. And our Student Leadership program is woven into the fabric of the school: as leaders in leadership, we help our students take command of their intellectual journeys and contribute to the world around them. With these groundbreaking programs, Charlotte Latin gives our students new landscapes to explore and the skills to thrive — today and for the rest of their lives.

Latin opened me up to the concept of nonpositional leadership and showed me that one can develop leadership skills inside and outside of the classroom. At Latin, I learned that no one can ever be the perfect leader. One can only continue to learn to lead in new environments and adapt to changes. Charlotte Latin School Alum, Class of 2024
