Grade 8 Girls' Lacrosse



Overview


The 8th Grade Girls’ Lacrosse team had a strong 2018 season and made it to the final game of the Greater Charlotte Middle School Athletic Association tournament, where they came up just two goals short of defeating Holy Trinity. They finished the year with an overall record of 5-6-1.

Charlotte Latin School’s code is “Honor Above All.” We believe that athletics provides the opportunity for many teachable moments of life’s lessons. Coaches


  • Head Coach

    Robin Scizek

    Upper School English teacher Robin Siczek (pronounced Size-eck) leads the 8th Grade Girls Lacrosse Team and previously coached both lacrosse and cross country at Holy Trinity before joining the Latin faculty in 2015. She is an avid runner and has completed four marathons.

  • Assistant Coach

    Caroline Plyler

    Caroline Plyler graduated from UNC Chapel Hill where she earned a B.A. in Communications and was a member of the field hockey team that won two ACC Championships during her four years as a Tar Heel. She went on to earn her teaching license in Elementary Education from UNC Charlotte and will join the Latin faculty in 2018 as a second grade assistant. She is also an assistant coach for the varsity field hockey team.
