Coaches

Head Coach
Coach Frederick played field hockey at Kenyon College and was All-Conference in 2002. She earned a B.A. in Spanish language & literature, then went on to earn an M.A. in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies from Duke University in 2012, where she played club field hockey. Coach Frederick has led the JV Field Hockey team since 2012 and is a Spanish teacher and World Languages Department Chair in the Upper School. -
Assistant Coach
Coach Vance has assisted the JV Field Hockey team since 2015. She played basketball for Pace University where she attained her B.S. in nursing before earning an M.A. in nursing administration and finally an MBA. She is Senior Vice President of Population Health and Valued Based Care for Novant and is mom to Grace, a Middle School student at Latin. -
Assistant Coach
Coach Glenn was a collegiate soccer player at the University of Redlands in California. She has more than 25 years of teaching experience and has been a history teacher in Latin's Upper School since 2002. During that time, Coach Glenn has worked with several different Hawks teams, including middle school soccer, 8th grade girls' basketball, and JV field hockey.
