The JV boys' basketball team lost a one-point heartbreaker to Charlotte Catholic on Saturday, December 1st. The Hawks have two home games this week: Union Academy at 6:30 on Wednesday (12/5) and Mountain Island Charter at 4:00 on Thursday (12/6). Go Hawks!

The junior varsity girls' basketball team faced West Stanly High School at home on 11/30 and nearly overcame a big deficit with a strong comeback after halftime. The next morning, the team faced Charlotte Catholic for the second time this season and struggled to stay with the Cougars. The team will go on the road this week with a game at Marvin Ridge on December 13th. Go Hawks!

Season complete. The Hawks had faced Providence Day twice this season, and both games ended in a tie. Unfortunately, the championship game did not go in the Hawks favor. Providence Day won the match 2-0. Overall, the Hawks were regular season champs and had a great run!

Season complete - conference champs! The JV field hockey team redeemed a loss to Country Day in last year's tournament by beating the Bucs 1-0 in 2018 to claim the conference title. 

Season complete - conference champs! The Hawks were undefeated going into the CISAA tournament and they finished well - scoring 19 points over Providence Day's 13 and Country Day's 11. Way to go, Hawks!

Season complete. The JV volleyball team finished with a tough loss to Charlotte Christian. The Hawks lost the first set 23-25 and stayed close in the second, but ultimately the Knights took it 18-25. Overall, the JV volleyball team's 5-12 record doesn't reflect the competitiveness of most of their matches. This group will continue to develop and strengthen as a team.

Season complete. The JV boys' lacrosse team won the conference championship with an 11-9 victory over Providence Day on Thursday, May 3rd. Congratulations Hawks! The team finished its season with a strong 10-2-1 record. 

Season complete. The JV girls' lacrosse team won their final game against Cuthbertson on April 24th, and played two strong 20-minute scrimmages at the tournament rounds on the 27th. They found redemption with a victory over Country Day on the new South Campus turf field on Thursday, April 19th, winning 5-4. Way to go, Hawks!

The JV boys' tennis team has two matches left in the regular season before moving into the JV tournament. The Hawks are scheduled to host the Cannon Cougars on May 1st, then Providence Day on May 2nd. Go Hawks!
