A Latin education makes an immediate impact and has lifelong value. We want that education to be accessible to families from a broad range of backgrounds. That’s why we offer financial aid to support students and families with financial need. We recognize that a Latin education is a significant investment and do not want tuition to be a barrier for entry. We believe that socioeconomic diversity is critical to our mission to support well-rounded, curious, ambitious young leaders, ready to navigate and thrive in a complex world. Tuition, Fees, and Enrollment Deposit

Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten	$27,600
1st–5th	$32,600
6th–8th	$35,200
9th–12th	$36,500

These fees are from the 2026-27 school year.

Tuition includes most course and laboratory fees. Textbooks are included in Transitional Kindergarten–5th grade tuition costs, but are an additional expense in 6th–12th grades. Also, for 5th–8th grades and 12th grade, there will be an advance payment of up to $710 for class trips. Student Accident Insurance ($75) and Tuition Refund Plan (0.53% of tuition) are optional charges and will appear on the June bill.

Other optional costs include transportation and our Extended Day and enrichment programs.

A non-refundable deposit of $2,500 is required at the time of initial enrollment or reenrollment. This amount will be deducted from the second tuition payment. No student can be enrolled or reenrolled without this deposit.

Important Dates and Deadlines

All tuition must be paid before students may attend classes following the respective tuition due dates.

A service charge of 1.5% per month will be added to all tuition charges that are not received or postmarked by the respective due dates. All miscellaneous charges must be paid before reenrollment can be offered, report cards issued, diplomas awarded, or transcripts released. Miscellaneous charges during a month will be billed at the end of that month and are due when received. A monthly service charge of 1.5% (18% annual) will be added to any unpaid balance.

The application deadline for financial aid is January 15, 2026.

Payment Plan Options

Two Payment Plan (May 31 and November 30)
Payments may be made in two installments, with one half of tuition due by May 31 and the balance, less the $2,500 deposit, due by November 30.

Monthly Payment Plan
With the monthly payment plan, you pay the $2,500 deposit at the time of enrollment or reenrollment and then make monthly payments beginning in May and ending in December. There is no fee or service charge if payments are made on time.

To get started, go to Clarity and create an account. Once your application is submitted, your Clarity dashboard will be a helpful navigation tool. For additional resources and information, please see our policies and procedures page.

What to expect during the process

If you are applying for multiple children, you need only one application.
The application can be easily accessed and navigated on your phone.
Clarity is a secure financial aid platform that typically takes 30 minutes or less to complete.
You will be able to save your progress and return at any time.
Your 1040 and W2 documents will be automatically transferred from the IRS when you complete the verification process.

The financial aid application process opens on September 15. To be considered for priority round decisions, all financial aid applications must be submitted by January 15. Once you have inquired through financialaid@charlottleatin.org, you will receive regular reminders and updates about Clarity webinars and financial aid information sessions.
