Congratulations to Avery Youse '26 who was selected to the 2022 North Carolina Bandmasters Association Middle School All-State Band! This is the second year that Avery auditioned for and successfully placed in this prestigious band. Avery auditioned along with all eligible students in public, private, and independent North Carolina middle schools.

Only eight students who play French Horn are selected to the All-State Band, and Avery earned 5th chair.

The All-State Band concert was Sunday, May 1, in UNC-Chapel Hill's Memorial Hall.
