Spring Numbers: 13 All-State, 29 All-Conference, 3 POY, 2 CLS Records

The 2022 spring season concluded with a third consecutive NCISAA championship for the girls' lacrosse program, runner-up NCISAA finishes for the girls' soccer team and the boys' golf team, and an individual NCISAA state title for Madeleine Pease in the high jump. The combined performances of spring teams in state tournament competition accumulated 272.5 points towards the Wells Fargo Cup, which recognizes overall excellence in high school athletics among NCISAA member institutions. Added to the fall total of 185 and the winter total of 197.5, the Hawks' total score for the 2021-2022 school year was 655 points, which earned Charlotte Latin the runner-up finish behind Charlotte Country Day. It's the twelfth time CLS has been the runner-up, in addition to 18 cup wins since the award's inception in the mid-eighties.

In conference competition, the girls' lacrosse and girls' soccer teams each finished first in the CISAA and the boys' golf team was second. Madeleine Pease and Jaylen Jones each won individual CISAA titles in the high jump, and Madeleine established herself as the sole owner of the Latin girls' high jump record when she cleared 5'3" earlier in the season. The girls' 4x400m relay of Mary Schleusner, Maggie Klingman, Madeleine Pease, and Nina Lavelle also set a new Latin school record, running a time of 4:05.36 to crush the previous mark of 4:10.50 set in 2011. Three Hawks were named CISAA Player of the Year: Davis Sayman for boys' golf, Ella Smith for girls' soccer, and Megan Klingenberg for girls' lacrosse.
