Seven Middle School students participated in the eighth annual Middle School CHARMUN (Charlotte Model United Nations) conference at Providence Day School on April 29 and 30. Topics included global energy issues, press freedom, and conflicts in the South China Sea. Sixth-grader James Edge was recognized as "Outstanding Delegate" and seventh-grader Lucy House earned an Honorable Mention.
