Charlotte Latin School announced that the speaker at its 2024 Commencement Exercises will be Betsy Klein ’08. Klein is an Emmy-winning political reporter, currently the Senior White House Producer at CNN. She joined CNN’s Washington bureau in 2014; previously, she worked for ABC News.

“I’m deeply honored to be coming home to Charlotte Latin for commencement. I can’t wait to celebrate the class of 2024, and look forward to taking a quick break from the campaign trail to share reflections on the foundation Latin helped me build,” Klein said.

Commencement Exercises will take place at the Beck Student Activities Center on the Charlotte Latin campus on Friday, May 24, at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are available for family members of the graduating class of 2024; in addition, the ceremony will be livestreamed via https://www.charlottelatin.org/commencement2024 for remote viewing.
