Charlotte Latin School announced that the speaker at its 2025 Commencement Exercises will be Carson Clough ’12. Clough, the CEO and cofounder of Giddy Goat Coffee Roasters in Charlotte, won a silver medal competing in triathlon in the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris.

“Latin is the ultimate shaper of me, from the sports field to the classroom,” Clough said.

Commencement Exercises will take place at the Beck Student Activities Center on the Charlotte Latin campus on Friday, May 23, at 9:30 a.m. Tickets are available for family members of the graduating class of 2025; in addition, the ceremony will be livestreamed via https://www.charlottelatin.org/commencement for remote viewing.

The 144 members of the class of 2025 were also honored at the Baccalaureate service and Senior Supper on the evening of Sunday, May 18.
