Brooke Bellavia '22 was honored as a High School Scholar All-American by United Soccer Coaches for 2021-2022. Only 72 female players in the nation received the Scholar All-America selection, which recognizes players with a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 or better (on a 4.0 scale) who also demonstrate outstanding performance on the field. 

In her final season as a Hawk, Brooke scored 11 goals and added six assists, helping the Hawks to a 17-3 record and a runner-up finish at the NCISAA 4A State Championship. She was named 1st Team CISAA All-Conference, 1st Team NCISAA All-State, and 1st Team NCSCA All-Region. Coach Horton described her as fast, powerful, and skillful, and called her one of the team's best leaders on and off the field.

Brooke is now a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Congratulations, Brooke!
