Mr. Brunton and Mr. Harris offered an experiential art workshop for students to paint in the style of an artist (van Gogh, Ernst, Duchamp, Kahlo, Nery, Miro, Dali), learn about the life of the artist and the story behind the artwork, and write a potential Scholastic submission inspired by a 2022 Gold Medal Scholastic poem about Van Gogh or an Ekphrastic Review weekly writing prompt on a painting such as Van Gogh's Starry Night.

Upper School History and English students, Art students, and Creative Writing Club members attended this curricular enrichment lesson during Activity Period and during Mr. Brunton’s World History II sections to enrich their unit of study of Modern Art.
