Charlotte Latin is committed to welcoming, serving, and honoring persons of all races, religions, and national origins. To support this effort, Latin seeks to educate our students and the School community about the benefits and responsibilities of living in a diverse world. The participation of students, faculty, administrators, and parents in the programs that advance the goals of diversity is the key to Latin’s commitment.
Diversity is interwoven into Latin’s curriculum. Younger students are taught to respect themselves and others through group activities, and older Courses such as the Upper School English course, Literature of Hope and Oppression, are designed to raise awareness and teach understanding to our students.
