We Can Stop Hunger

Charlotte Latin School has selected Loaves and Fishes to be the beneficiary of its annual Thanksgiving All-School Service Project.

Each year, the Charlotte Latin School community selects a non-profit organization to support in keeping with the School’s mission to serve others. The effort is led by Latin’s Service Learning Committee, which sponsors the All-School Service Project to express the gratitude of the Charlotte Latin community and to celebrate the Thanksgiving season. Students organized age-appropriate activities to raise funds and collect food items to feed people in the Charlotte community. The project will culminate with a Thanksgiving assembly on November 23, where Beverly Howard, the executive director of Loaves and Fishes, will represent the Charlotte-based food pantry. Loaves and Fishes provides a week's worth of nutritious groceries to individuals and families in a short-term crisis.
