Latin students earn 96 Scholastic awards

Sixty-four Charlotte Latin School students have received honors in the 2009 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition. Administered by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, this national competition recognizes students in grades 7-12. Each year, the Alliance receives thousands of works, submitted through its 81 regional affiliates for consideration in more than 25 categories of art and writing. Regional Gold Key winners have advanced to the national competition in New York City.
