Charlotte Latin's boys' and girls' soccer teams have earned 2011 Team Academic Awards from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). To qualify for the award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 for the entire 2010-11 academic year.
The team GPA is determined by finding the average of every player's GPA. The Latin girls' team GPA was 3.96 and the boys' team GPA was 3.64.
Charlotte Latin is one of only two schools in the Charlotte area, and one of only 60 schools nationwide, to have both the boys' and girls' soccer teams earn the team academic award.
