Lower School's "Helping Hands" initiative supports Crisis Assistance Ministry

Head of Lower School Mark Tayloe, Lower School Service Club advisors Janis Watts and Shirley Cook, and Lower School Service Club members present a check to Crisis Assistance Ministry representative Michelle Hamilton on Friday, Jan. 22. The Lower School raised more than $3,600 for Crisis Assistance Ministry through its January "Helping Hands" efforts, which will keep 10 families from being homeless. In addition to the money raised, students also collected other items needed by Crisis Assistance, including clothing, shoes, household items, blankets, sleeping bags and children's books.
