Charlotte Latin varsity soccer coach Lee Horton has been named one of six of the nation’s elite high school boys' soccer coaches who will participate in the Third Annual Choice Hotels International High School All-American Game on December 14, 2013, at Rutgers University-Camden, in Camden, N.J.
According to the High School All-America Game press release, “The Coaches for the 2013 game are gentlemen who are very dedicated to their profession and have been very influential in the lives of numerous young men. The coaches selected represent their high school teams during the fall season and are coaches that have won many regional and national awards; they were chosen based on their career coaching achievements and have combined for over 1,500 career wins and 30 state titles.”
Update: Coach Horton got his 900th combined career win with the CLS girls' soccer 9-0 win over Comenius School on March 5.
