'Voices Against Indifference'

As part of The Echo Foundation's Humanity's Day, students from the Charlotte area gathered at Latin on January 9 to prepare for their dialogue with Bishop Rucyahana, Echo's 2008 guest humanitarian. David Johnson, photographer and author of Voices of Sudan, was the featured speaker a the event. The day also included breakout sessions designed by and for students to discuss the critical issues of peace, intervention, justice and understanding. The students will meet with Bishop Rucyahana on March 4.
