Dorothea Benton Frank visits Latin

With her charming wit and warm personality, New York Times bestselling author Dorothea Benton Frank spoke to Latin's library volunteers, parents, faculty and staff during her visit to the school on April 16. Frank, a Sullivan's Island native, shared some of the family stories that influenced her "Lowcountry tales," and answered questions about her career, her books, and being a Southerner who has to divide her time between South Carolina and New Jersery. Her visit to Latin was sponsored by Barnes & Noble and the CLS Library. Frank, third from right, is shown in the above photo with members of Latin's Media Center staff.
