Let's Dance!

Sixth grade students learn and experience the art of traditional West African dance during a workshop on Monday, Nov. 24. Led by April Turner of Life as Art Productions, the workshop explored the language and movements associated with West African dance, as well as the ways in which dance is used to build community and document history. The workshop was part of the students' study of Africa.
