Charlotte Latin students Joseph Cato, Eliza Karp, Jeff McIntosh and Ellie Poteat were selected to participate in the Spoleto Study Abroad Arts and Humanities immersion program this past summer in Spoleto, Italy. The students enjoyed a rich and varied curriculum in the arts, as well as twice-weekly excursions to cultural centers such as Florence, Assisi, Tivoli, Siena and other medieval hill towns in central Italy.
Ellie and Eliza participated in the visual art program, Jeff participated in the drama program, and Joseph participated in both the photography and visual art programs.
Spoleto Study Abroad is committed to bringing an integrated style of learning to those students interested in pursuing their academic and artistic interests in an inspiring European setting. Charlotte Latin is an active member of a 16-school consortium that supports the Spoleto Study Abroad Program mission.
