Charlotte Latin art students receive 65 Scholastic awards

Forty-three Charlotte Latin School art students have received honors for their work in the 2010 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards competition. Administered by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers, this national competition recognizes students in grades 7-12. Each year, the Alliance receives thousands of works, submitted through its regional affiliates for consideration in more than 25 categories of art and writing.

Regional Gold Key winners have advanced to the national competition in New York City.

The following students were recognized with art awards:
