Twenty-five students were inducted into the Edward J. Fox Jr. chapter of the Cum Laude Society during a ceremony on Friday, March 26, in Thies Auditorium. Dr. Richard (Rich) Vinroot Jr. '88, Charlotte Latin's 2009-2010 Distinguished Alumnus, spoke at the event.

The Cum Laude Society recognizes academic achievement in secondary schools for the purpose of promoting excellence (Areté), justice (Diké) and honor (Timé).
In 1977, Charlotte Latin was the youngest school in the nation to be granted a Cum Laude Society charter.
