Lewis established The Actor’s Lab, one of the most respected acting schools in the country, in Los Angeles in 1990. The Actor’s Lab also opened a studio in Charlotte in 2007.

10.23.09 - The varsity volleyball team won its seventh consecutive CISAA championship with a victory over Charlotte Christian on Thursday. The team finished the regular season with a 24-1 record.

10.23.09 - The varsity field hockey team has won the CISAA title. The team finished the season undefeated and earned the top seed in the NCISAA tournament.

10.21.09 - Charlotte Latin's varsity girls' cross country team has won its third consecutive CISAA title. Latin junior Haylee Dawe set a meet record by running 18:30, which broke the previous mark of 18:32.8 set in 1998. The varsity boys' cross country team finished second at the meet.

10.14.09 - Charlotte Latin is introducing a new service for families who wish to apply for admission to Latin for their children. Applications may now be completed and submitted online. In addition to providing an easy access to application forms, this service allows applicants to monitor the status of their application forms online. Teacher recommendation forms also may be completed and submitted online.

01.22.09 - Latin student Michael Grace has been selected, on the basis of audition, to participate in the Western Regional Orchestra Clinic. The clinic will be held February 27-March 1 at Appalachian State University.

01.13.09 - Latin band students KJ Bredder, Louis Tonon and Andrew Zuehlke have been selected, on the basis of audition, to participate in the All-District Band Clinic on January 30-31 in Mooresville, N.C. Sena McCrory, Simon Menaker and Kate Player were selected as second alternates. Louis and Andrew's scores also enable them to audition for the All-State Honors Band in March.
