CLS community raises $16,000 for Habitat El Salvador

Students and teachers who built a Habitat for Humanity House in El Salvador during Spring Break ’09 celebrate Charlotte Latin’s commitment to the project they began during the All-School Thanksgiving Assembly on November 24. Habitat El Salvador is the beneficiary of the School’s all-school service project, which raised $16,000. Students performed chores at home and sponsored a series of special events to raise sufficient funds to build two houses in El Salvador.
