CLS freshman volleyball player named one of 26 finalists for PrepVolleyball.com's National High School Freshman of the Year

Charlotte Latin freshman Eve Davis has been named one of 26 finalists for PrepVolleyball.com's 2009 National High School Freshman of the Year. The finalists were recognized based on high school achievement in volleyball in 2009. The winner will be announced on Saturday, Jan. 30.

Davis (6-2, OH) is an all-conference performer and was named the MVP of the Super Six Tournament. She tallied 279 kills, 295 digs, and was one of Latin's primary passers in the Hawks' run to a sixth consecutive NCISAA 3A state title.
