Summer Study Abroad Programs
Charlotte Latin students participate in exchange programs with our Sister Schools during summer breaks. In addition to learning about other countries, students have the opportunity to see how families live around the world by staying with host families during their visits. At least one Charlotte Latin faculty member accompanies each student group for courses that generally last two weeks. Many teachers also offer mini-courses, which extend the foreign visits and pursue studies of art, history, literature, and language that enhance and complement the School’s curriculum.
Charlotte Latin students are encouraged to participate in international exchange programs. Details of future trips are available from Mrs. Heidi Carpenter, Director of the CLS Study Abroad Program, at hcarpenter@charlottelatin.org.
