Hello,
We are delighted that you and your family are interested in Charlotte
Latin School. Our school community is composed of families just like
yours who value teaching, celebrate learning, and expect a safe, nurturing
environment for their children.
At Latin, our faculty is dedicated to helping each child develop his
or her interests and talents, while learning those fundamental skills
that create a strong foundation for success in college and beyond. Our
balanced curriculum offers core academic courses and electives, as well
as many options in the arts and athletics. We stress the importance of
serving others through our Community
Service Program and learning about
the world through an active Study
Abroad Program. Students also may explore
their interests and develop their leadership skills by participating
in a variety of extracurricular activities. Our goal is to encourage
our students to embrace a lifelong love of learning. Above all, we emphasize
those characteristics that define a moral person, and we seek to live
daily by the tenets of our Honor Code.
