Charlotte Latin School’s admission policies are established to fulfill the School’s philosophy: to initiate in its students a love of and a respect for learning, to help them develop self-discipline, and to encourage creativity. We endeavor to promote an educated citizen with a command of facts and a mastery of the English language, capable of rational thought, of unequivocal self-expression, and of taking full advantage of growth-promoting opportunities in life. Charlotte Latin School seeks to attract a variety of students who demonstrate motivation and the ability to respond to the total School program. International Students

Charlotte Latin has hosted students from around the world. International students who wish to attend Charlotte Latin School as an exchange student should contact Heidi Carpenter, CLS Director of Exchange and Study Abroad Programs, for admissions information.

Charlotte Latin School has need-based financial aid funds available for qualified families. Application for financial aid is made during the admissions application process.
