SCIENCE LAB CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Using hands-on and inquiry-based activities, the Lower School Science Lab program correlates with the science instruction in the classroom. Lessons are developed to use each child’s natural curiosity to help guide her/him to understand new scientific concepts. Creativity is an important component in helping students discover and explore new science topics. Lessons may occur in the Science Lab, as well as various sites on the CLS campus – woods, fields, creeks, and Lake Latin.
